HP Support wants to replace the disk as a precaution. <BR />Normally on a failed disk it would show as such:<BR /> server1 # vxdisk list<BR /> DEVICE TYPE DISK GROUP STATUS<BR /> c2t0d0 simple rootdisk02 rootdg online<BR /> c2t2d0 simple - - error<BR /> - - rootdisk01 rootdg failed was:c2t2d0<BR />and we would run:<BR />vxdg -k -g rootdg rmdisk rootdisk01<BR />to remove it from rootdg before HP replaced it.<BR />Since this disk is actually still up and functioning, what would be the proper steps to remove it from rootdg prior to HP replaceing the drive ?
