If you are missing media, then you need to contact your local HP Support office and request it through them, provided it is still a supported OS version.
You would need to have a valid contract, and also know what cd you want etc.
Unless HP has changed something, the codeword that unlocks the product for installation is all you need. It won't prompt for it... you Add New Codeword from the Action menu in swinstall. (There may be another way from the command line, but that's the way I did it years ago when I installed it from CD.)

Hi Navin ,

What my understanding is ,
Code words are used to ulock the products from CD . Priced prodcuts are available for swinstall only after you give the code word .

There are some products for which you can change the license policy on command line . For example some product like online JFS , the license can be added using licensing command vxlicense .

Also I think code words are associated for a paritcular media and can not be swapped with other , it has two parts like customer id and code words which are custom made .

Regards ...bl.

A codeword unlocks the software when doing the install, and allows the product to be installed. This codeword is usually generated with an algorithm that includes the cd/dvd part number, customer number, order number etc.
During the install phase you need to use it to be able to "see" the product to install it.

If the product then requires a License Key, that is something entirely different and this is normally what allows the product ot actually be used.
It gets put in in a variety of ways, depending upon the application.

If you already have the code word for a particular software but have misplaced the media then this should not be an extra cost as you already purchased the software otherwise you would not have the codeword for it. I would contact your local HP representive to find out what exactly you need to do in order to get the media back in order to install the software.
