    <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;if you know there is a problem with certain services, why do you not remove them, if not required?&lt;BR /&gt;You can then change the scripts in /sbin/rc?.d to permanently skip the faulty services.</description>

      <description>Hi there!&lt;BR /&gt;Is there a way to overide boot-up services startup by pressing control keys?&lt;BR /&gt;It always stops by mail and snmp services due to time-out ... i have to wait more then 30min just to boot up computer!!!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Brgds,&lt;BR /&gt;Sero</description>

      <description>Hi Sergej,&lt;BR /&gt;As Peter mentionned check you have nothing in /etc/inittab disturbing then remove the troublesome services from the /sbin/rc.*d level, better would be move them to /sbin/rc4.d, the start files that is and put the stop in rc3.d&lt;BR /&gt;since you boot to runlevel 3, once conneted just type init 4 as root...&lt;BR /&gt;But I would try to see what is going on so go through the script and try to debug!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Good luck&lt;BR /&gt;Victor</description>

      <description>shift cntl |   will break you to login.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Then perhaps you should turn off mail and snmp and run those manually after next reboot.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
