    <description>Shalom John,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;cstm will show you what is where. I don't think there is a way to make the system identify the manufacturer of the ram.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;My usual approach in this case is to shut down the box and look inside.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;There really isn't much point in identifying the manufacturer anyway.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>

      <description>How does one identify if there ram is HP or other then HP ram? Sys_Info does not and neither does stm. Please advise.</description>

      <description>Open the box and look. The whole idea or 3rd-party RAM is that it's compatible and thus indistinguishable to the system.</description>
