Software configuration error on Tape Device??

I got an EMS Event Notification ( see details below as I ran the "resdate" commmand ) from the syslog. I did an ioscan and the tape drive shows as NO_HW. This happened also yesterday. But after I power-cyled the tape library it shows back in ioscan. Any thoughs??

Shalom,

Could be a problem with the connection cable, or the scsi card.

I have on LTO2 drives found replacing the scsi cable makes this go away about half the time.

I would log a call with HP to investigate.
