|There are 3 vpars in an npar(SD32) and when ever I shutdown one partition The MP hangs.it is not able to switch to other vpars within the npar. But works for other 2 partitions(means I can shutdown these 2 partions..MP is not hanging) This is s newly configured vpar.

This means the MP is not hanging, rather your virtual console is hanging.
Are you doing ctl-a to try switching consoles?
did this work before you created the new vpar?
what version of Vpars, and do the other Npars contain Vpars and work ok?

1.MP firware :15.22

2.vpar version : T1335BC A.04.02.10.

MP works other npars which is having vpars with same MP firmware and vpar version.

3. The MP is working it hangs only when I shutdown one particular partition. If i didnt shut shutdown any partion , iam able to switch to all the vpars with CTRL+A....and

suppose a,b and c are the 3 virtual partitions...the MP hangs only if i shutdown "a". suppose i shutdown "b" keeping a and c up..in this case MP works...

Since you said this is a new VPAR, When you install a VPAR, You get an option for Power controlling partitions. Make sure you did not mention the MP when you created partition a.
