Today our server crashed and continually looped while booting. It is a 11i vr1 superdome. The only way to get the server backup wasto remove one of the fiber channels when booting. Once booted you may insert the second and an ioscan will pick up the disks. However if you reboot with the 2 fibers plugged in you will get a crashing server again. The error was
vxvm:vxconfigd: ERROR: enable failed: Error in disk group configuration copies
No convergence between disk group and disk list; transactions are disabled.
vxvm:vxconfigd: FATAL ERROR: Rootdg cannot be imported during boot
Error returned from vxconfigd -m boot, halting

has anyone seen this before or do they have any ideas?
