Where to find the latest EMS version

Hi I have upgraded EMS A.03.20.01 to latest version of EMS A.04.20 . But the Diskmonitor and EMS-RdbmsMon is still A.03.20.01. Please advise to upgrade Diskmonitor and rdbmsMon also to 4.20. I have enclosed the swlist output for your reference.

For installation instructions.

The High Availability Monitors product can be installed on a running system in multi-user mode.

You can use the software management tools in SAM or the swinstall command to install HA Monitors.

The HA Monitors version A.04.20 bundle (Part number B5736DA) contains the following file sets that will be installed on PA platform:

EMS-MIBMonitor.MIBMON-RUN â MIB (Management Information Base) monitors for cluster, networking interface, and system resources

EMS-DiskMonitor.DISKMON-RUN â Disk monitor for physical and logical volume resources configured by LVM

EMS-RdbmsMon.RDBMSMON-RUN â Database monitor for MIB resources

Try to unistall your monitor and install them again via swinstall.

Thanks for the response , If I downloade with B5736DA then i get Node and Host Name Expansion , if I try to explore through sam I get the below error messages.

" Currently, there are no products on this source which are compatible with the target. Therefore, no products are shown. "

I installed EMS from below link only

I have tried installing online diage version OnlineDiag_B.11.11.17.02 but no use

Please let me know where I can get the HA Monitor version 4.20

Hi James,
I downloaded (OnlineDiag_B.11.11.17.02_HP-UX_B.11.11_32+64.depot)
and installed the same one only. But I am not finding any differnce in swlist.

I want the below components to be updated to A.4.20 .
EMS-DiskMonitor A.03.20.01 EMS Disk Resource Monitor
EMS-RdbmsMon A.03.20.01 EMS Database Monitor
PHSS_26947 1.0 EMS & HA Monitors (A.03.20.01) patch

When you install EMS B7609BA or EMS Developer's Kit B7611BA on HP-UX 11i, ensure that High Availability Monitors (B5736DA) is also upgraded to the same version. For example, when you install EMS A.04.20, ensure that you also install High Availability Monitors A.04.20.

Do you have a September 2005 Applications CD?

Apparently the HA Monitors is a bundle that has to be purchased...I don't seem to find a download area. I think it has to be with the application CD, not sure...

The HA Monitors are a separately chargeable product, and they come with the Application Release. I don't think they can be downloaded from the website.

When you install the A.04.20 version of the HA Monitors, you would automatically get EMS updated to A.04.20.

Note you would also need to upgrade the OnlineDiags to a version compatible with EMS A.04.20 (that should also happen automatically).
