    <description>you don't have to run sendmail daemon to send e-mail from that server. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Don't think you can do that way to send out e-mails only to particular users. You may have to write put all users information in /etc/aliases file and run newaliases command to update it.</description>

      <description>Shalom,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;That sendmail version should not be used to accept mail. vi /etc/rc.config.d/sendmail&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Make sure its set to zero so it does not start.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Put a DShostnameofmailservertorelay&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;in sendmail.cf to relay mail via another host. That host must be configured to allow relay and  it will not permit relay by default.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>

      <description>The access database allows flexible control over sending and receiving mail. If you want to use it, you should consider moving to a more current version of sendmail. 8.13.3 is the current version for hp-ux.</description>
