    <description>thx guys,&lt;BR /&gt;yes, i am useing automount and i accessed to the directory. But nothing changed. But i solved my problem by inserting my parameters in /etc/auto_master file.&lt;BR /&gt;/- /etc/flash.f -rw,bg,intr,hard,timeo=600,wsize=32768,rsize=32768</description>

      <description>hi guys,&lt;BR /&gt;I have two HP-UX box. One of them is my nfs server. From the second i am trying to mount one directory with automount. But i can not set any parameter. My conf files are;&lt;BR /&gt;/etc/auto_master&lt;BR /&gt;/-  /etc/auto.f&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;/etc/auto.f&lt;BR /&gt;/flash -rw,bg,intr,hard,timeo=600,wsize=32768,rsize=32768 server:/flash&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;but when i executed the mount -v &lt;BR /&gt;/etc/auto.f on /flash type autofs ignore,direct on Wed Oct 11 15:38:18 2006&lt;BR /&gt;i can not see any parameters.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;But also i can mount with directory with mount command &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;mount -o rw,bg,intr,hard,timeo=600,wsize=32768,rsize=32768 server:/flash /flash&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;mount -v &lt;BR /&gt;vtnode1:/flash on /flash type nfs rsize=32768,wsize=32768,NFSv3 on Wed Oct 11 15:47:39 2006&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;what could be a problem ? how i can mount server directory with direct automount with specified parameters.</description>

      <description>Hey;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;After updating the automounter files, I'm assuming you're running /usr/sbin/automount because you see the /etc/auto.f line. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The /flash filesystem doesn't get mounted until there is some attempt to access the filesystem.  "cd /flash" would force the mount.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Once that's done, you should see the arguments you're looking for.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Additional note:  ensure you're using the enhanced automounter.  If you're using 11.11, download it from software.hp.com.  It comes standard w/11.23.  The enhanced automounter is significantly more stable than any previous automounter versions.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Doug</description>
