Can I remove these files without a problem?
There is also a sort of Catalog file (LOGCATLG), I think this one has to stay, but I'm not sure, who knows more...

This is the proper way to get rid of those log files, beware that you will get a message for a month that there is a problem with your hparray log files. I only remove them when they become corrupted or their is a problem reading them.

/sbin/init.d/hparray stop
cd /var/opt/hparray/log
rm LOGCATLG
rm L000*
touch LOGCATLG
/sbin/init.d/hparray start

GL,
C

Hi,

The doc KBRC00000866 says.
The array logs are generated by the ARMserver process and are necessary
for troubleshooting and for performance history and recommendations. If for some
reason the array experiences a problem, these logs are necessary to trace what
caused the problem. Without the logs, one can only guess as to what happened to
the array. The log files can be viewed with /opt/hparray/bin/logprint.

The log files will typically grow to 100 MB (this file size limit is static and
not configurable) and then the oldest logs will be removed. The Usage record
log entries are at every 15 minutes (when ARMServer is polling) and every time
the system is restarted or ARMServer is restarted. These entries contain
performance data as well as error logging and the Corrected RAM errors ticker -
these entries will look something like:

Corrected RAM errors = 0
Usage record for Subsystem .....

The log files should be about the same size every day, unless they include
errors or other events - like LUN configuration, disk changes, etc. The number
of logs per day can be different based on system changes, reboots, etc
