Locking is controlled by placing a lock on /var/adm/sw/products/swlock. You probably need to:
cd /sbin/init.d
./swagentd stop
./swagentd start
I was running a swinstall and lost my connection to the server. When checking the swinstall process was not running. When I tried to go into swremove to clean up what was installing before trying again, it tells me:
This target or source is already in use either within this same session or by another session. A read or write lock was denied.

How can I clear this to continue on ?
