Hello, we have Integrity Virtual Machine 1.2 on hpux 11.23 v2 Itanium.
After giving the command:
hpvmconsole -P vm_name and selecting CO to connect to the VM console, the login prompt doesn't appear.
SSH connections to the virtual machine work fine, no erros in syslog file of both host and guest.
Any idea to solve the problem without restarting the VM?
Thanks

Hi,

let's assume someone was connected to the console before, run a command and disconnected the session. In this case, the application might be still running.
See the console log!

Also connect to the VM using ssh and grep for processes running on the console - if needed, kill them.

Hello, there were processes attached to the console.
After killing them, hpvmconsole works fine.
Just wondering why those processes after system boot were attached to the console.
Thanks a lot.
