I remember reading somewhere that hpux jfs starts to show degraded performance once the filesystem becomes 90% utilized. Can someone confirm that or send me a link to a doc?

Hi court,

1>The JFS Version 3 disk layout will not affect any existing applications. The kernel and commands continue to support all JFS interfaces that were supported in past releases of HP-UX. Applications should not rely on the file system's internal data structures. If they do, applications might not work correctly.sometimes, when Fs exceed above 80-90%,performance become poor.

Read follwing for further information:
http://docs.hp.com/en/B2355-90950/ch07s04.html

http://docs.hp.com/en/5964-5283/ch02s08.html

http://docs.hp.com/en/5965-4406/ch04s07.html

http://docs.hp.com/en/B2355-90950/ch06s02.html?jumpid=reg_R1002_USEN
