      <description>Dear All,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have exported a vg to which the below device belongs to. now I want to create this as a new PV and extend some other VG when I try to vreate it as a ne PV it give me some error. below is the error. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# pvcreate /dev/rdsk/c12t0d6&lt;BR /&gt;pvcreate: The physical volume already belongs to a volume group&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# strings /etc/lvmtab&lt;BR /&gt;/dev/vg00&lt;BR /&gt;/dev/dsk/c2t0d0&lt;BR /&gt;/dev/dsk/c2t1d0&lt;BR /&gt;/dev/vg01&lt;BR /&gt;/dev/dsk/c12t0d1&lt;BR /&gt;/dev/vg02&lt;BR /&gt;/dev/dsk/c12t0d2&lt;BR /&gt;/dev/vg03&lt;BR /&gt;/dev/dsk/c12t0d4&lt;BR /&gt;/dev/vg04&lt;BR /&gt;/dev/dsk/c12t0d5&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please help&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks in Advance,,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Rahul</description>
