    <description>Yeah, the answer is RAC. In the end though unless you are a big shop it isn't worth the cost to implement. Oracle's licensing is outrageous.</description>

      <description>Hi people,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Is it possible to configure two hp-ux 11 server in cluster (package running oracle db) to load-balance/dispatch oracle request accross the two servers ? does that sound silly ???&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The purpose is to use both of the clustered server simultanously instead of the other node waiting to be active &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
