rx2660 HP-UX install: SmartArray P400 does not see SAS disk

Hello all,

I tried to install HP-UX on a rx2660 box with an SmartArray P400 Controller build in.
Following QuickSpecs this controller should be supported for HP-UX and OpenVMS also.

As I installed HP-UX 11.31 the Installation stopped as no disk could be found: the P400 controller could not be configured during the (standard) HP-UX installation procedure.

Can anybody give me a hint?

The smartarray P400 is supported with 11.23, but not yet with 11.31, see

IMHO, you have to be patient for while ...

the matrix says "check the docs server for newest updates" - IMHO this means the support will come in near future.

This is a good news. I already know who is interested in this.

IMHO we have to expect more enhancements notifications with 11.31 frequently...
