      <description>Check the vgdisplay -v output for #of physicals vs #of disk seen.  If there is a mismatch attempt to vgchange -a y /dev/vgxx to see if you can bring the disk into the config.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Then we will take it from there if it does not resolve.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>You need to reactivate the VG after doing a vgcfgrestore so that the VG knows the new disk is active.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# vgchange -a y vg00&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Then try your vgsync, pvdisplay, etc.</description>

I reacvtivated the vg00 and then vgsync. it was cool.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Steven: I didnt do pvcreate on that disk, but still it worked.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks a lot guys....&lt;BR /&gt;Candyman.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
