      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;When i issue the following command &lt;BR /&gt;pvcreate /dev/rdsk/c4t11d5&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;i get the error as&lt;BR /&gt;pvcreate /dev/rdsk/c4t11d5&lt;BR /&gt;pvcreate: writing LVM record: I/O error&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please let me know how to resolve this issue.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards</description>

      <description>have you try to force the pvcreate?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;pvcreate -f /dev/rdsk/c4t15d5&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;if still can't work, run cstm and choose the disk device. Eg.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;cstm&amp;gt; sel dev 25&lt;BR /&gt;cstm&amp;gt;information; wait&lt;BR /&gt;cstm&amp;gt;infolog&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;watch for any hardware errors...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;let us know the outcome.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;good luck!&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
