Secure Shell ports

We have a couple of servers that are on a seperate network and behind a firewall that we need access to via Secure Shell..

What ports would I need opened in the firewall to allow for ssh and scp traffic between the servers ?

The same port is used for traffic to and return traffic from the remote server ?

yes...

note that you can also configure sshd (server) and client to use non-standard ports if desired
