Hi Friends,

I have added a new network printer (printer name pah2). I am able to ping the printer, but when i send a testprint, it does not pass thorough. Also o/p of hpnpadmin is not as i expected. I am pasting the output in the attached text file.

Is SNMP response required for n/w printer to work. The printer has been set using addqueue command and i am sure it has been added correctly.

Kindly assist.

Hi Lahori,

You are in the OS MPE/iX room.

Which OS plat-form the network printer is connectd to? Based on the attached file, it seems to be HP-UX, I'll move this thread to the HP-UX sys admin room.

If you expect to get an answer after this was moved to HP-UX, you better reopen the thread. See:
http://forums.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/helptips.do?#41
