    <description>I have a situation where I have some nic cards and I need to find out if they are compatible with midrange HPUX 11.00/11.11 boxes.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The description is Intel Pro/1000MT server adapter PCI/PCI-X, part # 412648-B21.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;My hardware guy doesnt know if they are compatible with HP midrange so I'm hoping one of yall knows.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>I doubt that these will work.  Most NIC's for HP-UX servers will have HP part numbers and stickers on them.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The NICs you describe sound like they are for Intel based servers.</description>

      <description>Thanks Patrick. I got smart and googled the part number and it came up with Proliant in the description so I dont think so either.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks!</description>
