Hi. I have a server with HP-UX 11iv1 and when I try to run the command lpsched a new line appears and is telling me: Memory fault; and there is no coredump at all in the directory.
I have looked already at the memory error logs and there are none, and the are no HPMC from the CPU either.
There are no patches or fileset corrupted either. Any idea on what is happening?
Thanks for the help

Shalom,

I think it likely that this is dealt with in one of the following ways:

1) Remove the lpsched binary and replace with one from another system.
2) A recent bi-annual patch set.
3) Making sure the environment is correct when running lpsched

SEP

A search for 'lpstat' also point to the 'cumulative SAM patch' - PHCO_35520, or the latest: PHCO_36562, but it has only one star, so not yet tested by much customers.

So I suggest to install SAM and lpspool patches

V.
Hi Dennis. Thanks for the replies. The thing is that this is not my server, I only give support. I can not be sure that noone changed the file, but I think noone did it although. And the other question now is, how do I get the older file? This happens since I updates from HPUX 11.00 to 11iv1 (a cold intallation).
I already installed on the server the last bundle of patches (SupportPlus 0712).
