Sendmail problem . .

Hi Gurus,
When I am execute sendmail -bv, I am getting an error. Please look into it.

OS = 11.11
Model = HP 9000

# sendmail -bv
NIS map mail.aliases specified, but NIS not running: Connection refused
Recipient names must be specified

Hi,
In /etc/nsswitch.conf, remove "nis" from the "aliases" entry.
