boot problem

hello experts,
one of my test server is not able to boot..please tell me if you require any GSP logs, i can have the GSP console , but i dont know whats the problem ..

i have two disks on the server, and i tried to install VxVM by vxinstall command but at last i t ended up showing some java related error, after that i shutdown the system and now its not booting..

the server model is 9000/800/L2000-44

Questions:
Are you able to power on the server?
If yes, what is the last message on the console before you assume that the "server is not booting"?

yogeeraj, thanx for the prompt reply..
but i am not able to get the console at all..
so cant tell you what message i am getting on console, but even then will it be pingable, COZ the lan ip is showing as not pingable..

Please collect some information from the console - what is the current status and so on.

hi,

What does the front panel LEDs show?

Can you try to switch off the power and retry to boot the server? (am assuming that all physical connections are OK)

If you are not able to access console and MP LAN is not working then you need to fix this issue first.

Try connecting to console via serial cable and collect some information as suggested above.

You have still not replied about accessing the GSP? If you are not able to access GSP by any means then you need to get that fixed first.

If you were not able to access a console (either serial or LAN) how did you do a fresh install?

A fresh install requires interaction from the console. If you were able to do this it seems to me you should have been able to provide the information requested.
