      <description>Hiya,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;LVM thinks there should be a bunch of disks in this VG, but there seems to be only one inthere. (Cur PV 1)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# vgdisplay -v vg21&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;--&amp;gt; will show you which disk is actually inthere.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Is this a new (empty) volume group ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Cheers,&lt;BR /&gt;Wout</description>

      <description>&lt;BR /&gt;Ahh, you (are supposed to) have 8 paths to your disk, that makes sense.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Is your logical volume mounted ? Make sure it's unmounted before trying to deactivate.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It seems like none of your alternate links (still) exist, check if you can reach them with, for example:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# diskinfo /dev/rdsk/c17t0d1&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The output of "ioscan -fnCdisk" could also be useful to check.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Cheers,&lt;BR /&gt;Wout</description>
