      <description>Hi !!!!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;   cat $TEST_MAIL | /usr/sbin/sendmail -t -f address@myhost&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;   The above process hungs. mailq output is as below. What might be the reason for this?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;$ mailq&lt;BR /&gt;  Mail Queue (1 request)&lt;BR /&gt;--Q-ID-- --Size-- -----Q-Time----- ------------Sender/Recipient------------&lt;BR /&gt;XAA21570* (no control file)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks &amp;amp; Regards&lt;BR /&gt;DK</description>

      <description>Hi DK:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;As the manpages for 'sendmail' would note, "sendmail is not intended as a user interface routine.  Other programs provide user-friendly front ends. sendmail is used only to deliver pre-formatted messages."&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Instead why not (?):&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# mailx -s "Your Subject Here" address@myhost.org &amp;lt; ${TEST_MAIL}&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;...JRF...</description>
