    <description>Try booting in single user mode, I have a feeling that may not help.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Try booting in lvm maintenance mode using hpux -lm at ISL prompt when it asks you to press any key within 10 seconds while booting.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Similarlt hpux -is can be used to boot in single user mode.</description>

The PDC command used for this purpose is:&lt;BR /&gt;Main Menu: Enter command or menu &amp;gt; boot pri -is&lt;BR /&gt;On other machines, you can stop the boot process and use ISL to boot into single-user mode as&lt;BR /&gt;shown here.&lt;BR /&gt;Main Menu: Enter command or menu &amp;gt; boot pri&lt;BR /&gt;Interact with ISL (Y or N)?&amp;gt; Y&lt;BR /&gt;When you get the ISL prompt, use the following command to boot into single-user mode.&lt;BR /&gt;ISL&amp;gt; hpux&lt;BR /&gt; Best u have to tried run recovery console mode. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>for recovery console mode , you need to boot the system with OS CD and then select the recovery from there...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It will gove you some options there abt what do you want to repair.. Try repairing the LVM structure without replacing vmunix.</description>
