    <description>Knowledge document emr_na-c01250837-3&lt;BR /&gt;discusses setting up Kerberos authentication using AD.  One assumption of the document is that the schema of AD is extended so that AD acts as an LDAP server for account (Posix) info, but it should be possible to have the account info reside in HP-UX (/etc/passwd)  or a separate LDAP server.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regardless, there are some links in the document which may be helpful</description>

      <description>No need to open back up the thread and point this but:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Your PDC, Windows 2003 Server must have an updated schema and be patched close to current to permit HP-UX to integrate.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;As to whether LDAP is required or not, that depends on how the windows server is set up. If it uses LDAP, then your HP-UX server must as well.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>
