cleint install problem in ignite unix

Hi All,

I have done the client archiving using create network recovery archive from ignite screen screen. But when iam trying to install the OS on client it says "client is not ready to install yet"

Please provide me suggestions to resolve it

can you check if you have entered the right IP/MAC of the client in the /etc/bootptab or the /etc/opt/ignite/instl_boottab
not sure which method are you using...

Hi Azaru,

If possible use cross cable to connect the ignite server and client. Boot the client and Interrupt during the boot and apply comment < boot lan.x.x.x.x install> x is your server IP.
Your both servers are on Same Subnet?

Now the previous issue is solved and started the installation but after that the server tries to boot the client and the client status remains in the same status which is here in the attached image. Please refer
