    <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I got this from my syslog for the last couple of days every two minutes.       <description>most probably the inetd logging is enabled&lt;BR /&gt;inetd will log all connections it receives&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This connection is being &lt;BR /&gt;made by the program p_client which is part of the Event Monitoring &lt;BR /&gt;System (EMS) software.  By default it checks every 2 minutes to be sure that &lt;BR /&gt;any configured EMS monitors are still running.  You may change this interval by &lt;BR /&gt;editing the file: &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;     /etc/opt/resmon/config &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;and changing the timer MonitorRestartInterval to something other than &lt;BR /&gt;2:00.  If the file does not exist or the variable is not there or has a syntax &lt;BR /&gt;problem, then the default value used will be 2 minutes. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;;) knowledge base</description>
