Trying to run swinstall -s /cdrom Ignite-UX-11-11 which I have done successfully on several machines today but am having an issue with (of course) the last server.

Brand new machine just delivered. Putting on some extra software. Host file checked and rechecked. nslookup looks good.
Would appreciate any ideas.

New system and such an old ignite version?

Try restarting the 'swagentd' daemon:

# swagentd -r

Does swlist -l file @ /path/to/depot completes successfully? and your last server is PA or IA? FTPing the content and installing from local disks might be tried?

Dave,

perms on /var/tmp/ and /var , just make sure that they are ok.
I would log a call with HP RC after trying from different source.

I think I may have some other issues on this machine than just my swinstall problem.
I'm going to close this case, but once again your feedback was appreciated.
