As you read through these links you will see that its specific to your environment. Begin with this one though, Ignite, and read up on ignite server, ignite by tape, make_recovery, cloning. As an SA, your responsibilty begins with restoring the O/S, and that's what Ignite is all about. DBA's are responsible for the database. SAP admins take care of SAP, etc.:
