    <description>I have an rx86xx--Integrity&lt;BR /&gt;OS HP-UX 11v2&lt;BR /&gt;Virtual Partition Software 4.0x&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have built a new vpar from the npar.&lt;BR /&gt;I set the mode&lt;BR /&gt;vparenv -m vPars&lt;BR /&gt;Reboot&lt;BR /&gt;Iterupted the load and did fs0:&lt;BR /&gt;hpux&lt;BR /&gt;Interuppted&lt;BR /&gt;hpux /stand/vpmon&lt;BR /&gt;mon&amp;gt;&lt;BR /&gt;vparload -p vpar0&lt;BR /&gt;It booted&lt;BR /&gt;Up to this point all worked great.&lt;BR /&gt;Now if I need to reboot vpar0 it will not boot.&lt;BR /&gt;I can interupt it and issue the commands I did above but I need it to load automatically.&lt;BR /&gt;What did I miss?&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Did you set it to autoboot?&lt;BR /&gt;Did you change the auto file to read:&lt;BR /&gt;"boot vpmon -a" ?&lt;BR /&gt;Have you checked to see the boot device is the first in the EFI boot list?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi Mark,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;please post the answers to Melvyn's questions and then please the complete log of boot phase.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt;Now if I need to reboot vpar0 it will not boot.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It would be useful to see details of the boot phase to understand the reasons why it cannot boot.&lt;BR /&gt;I'm thinking of a particular problem that I faced in the past, anyway please post the complete boot phase.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Best regards,&lt;BR /&gt;Fabio&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>As per the manual, you need to change the autoboot file on the boot disk to contain the string "boot vpmon -a"&lt;BR /&gt;to do this you use mkboot&lt;BR /&gt;See page 170 onwards of &lt;A href="http://docs.hp.com/en/T1335-90073/T1335-90073.pdf" target="_blank"&gt;http://docs.hp.com/en/T1335-90073/T1335-90073.pdf&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
