Migration of JetAdmin and printers to 11.31

Hi.

We are moving from an rp-7420 with 11.11 and JetAdmin to a new rx7640 with 11.31.

Here are 187 printers!!!... how do you recomend to migrate them?... lpmgr -S ??... compatibility?... JetAdmin obsolescense?

Mario,

In a nutshell this is what I do:

Install Jetadmin (the 11.0 version works on all 11.XX versions)
Install JetDirect.
Save your printer configuration through sam.
Copy the /var/sam/lp directory to your new system
Restore your printer config through sam.
Start the spooler.
Make sure your DNS and host files are correct so the system can resolve Name>IP

Your done.

The link was helpfull!. My concern was not the compatibility, was the best practice about this. The link help with that.
