      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What i get in my syslog.log file is:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Aug  1 14:30:53 bscap101 EMS [2243]: ------ EMS Event Notification ------   Value: "CRITICAL (5)" for Resource: "/system/events/ia64_corehw/core_hw"     (Threshold:  &amp;gt;= " 3")    Execute the following command to obtain event details:   /opt/resmon/bin/resdata -R 146997250 -r /system/events/ia64_corehw/core_hw -n 146997249 -a&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Attached is the output of the resdata&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;My Firmware version is as follows:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;[bscap101-mp] MP:CM&amp;gt; sysrev&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SYSREV&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Current firmware revisions&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; MP FW     : E.03.30&lt;BR /&gt; BMC FW    : 04.05&lt;BR /&gt; System FW : 46.34&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Does this require some patching or updation in the firmware.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I just physically checked with the power cables as it doesn't show any indication.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Kindly Suggest!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;the Recommended Action is the following:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Probable Cause / Recommended Action:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;     The minimum number of power supplies required to power the unit is&lt;BR /&gt;     currently installed and operating. There are no redundant I/O power&lt;BR /&gt;     supplies available in case of failure. If redundancy is desired another&lt;BR /&gt;     Power supply should be added.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;     For information on the sensor that generated this event, refer to FRU ID&lt;BR /&gt;     in Event Details section.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I don't see any suggestion to upgrade the firmware, rather it is indicating something about Power supplies redundancy.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Best regards,&lt;BR /&gt;Fabio</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks for the reply.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;But there exists a redundant power supply already in the system and i really wonder about this message.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I checked with power cords and i dont find any problem with that, the server is up and running now.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;No Amber Indications in the server as well.</description>
