      <description>when i am trying to start bpcd for netbackup client machine i am getting following error&lt;BR /&gt;194 % /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/bpcd -standalone&lt;BR /&gt;bind(13782) failed: 226&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;root@arcsidc2:/usr/openv/netbackup/bin&lt;BR /&gt;195 %&lt;BR /&gt;in /etc/inetd.conf entry is following &lt;BR /&gt;bpcd    stream  tcp     nowait  root    /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/bpcd bpcd&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;checked the port in /etc/services&lt;BR /&gt;please help me out</description>

      <description>errno 226 = EADDRINUSE /* Address already in use */&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;      [EADDRINUSE]   Address already in use.  Only one usage of each address&lt;BR /&gt;                     is normally permitted.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;could this be down to another process using the port ?       <description>restarted inetd (inetd -c) and checked port for  bpcd 13782 is listening.but i am not able to see the bpcd process.i am running ps -ef|grep bpcd..no output.I have added master in /etc/hosts.But still i am not able to run the bpcd process.</description>
