    <description>&amp;gt; We do not need to stop the package or Cluster. No downtime required.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt; Simply edit the cluster ascii file&lt;BR /&gt;The cluster configuration file is in /etc/cmcluster on one of the nodes.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;   If the file cannot be located, recreate it with this command:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;   # cmgetconf cluster.ascii &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;   Edit the cluster configuration file, make the changes&lt;BR /&gt;FAILBACK_POLICY=MANUAL  and AUTO_RUN=YES&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;After the changes been done&lt;BR /&gt;# cmcheckconf -C &lt;CLUSTER.ASCII&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;# cmapplyconf -f -C &lt;CLUSTER.ASCII&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt; Copy the ascii file to the other node also!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/CLUSTER.ASCII&gt;&lt;/CLUSTER.ASCII&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi Gurus,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;i have a two node cluster with MCSG 11.16 (HPUX 11.23 IA MACHINE) .it is up and  runing fine now.we are going to change FAILBACK_POLICY=MANUAL AND AUTORUN=YES on this (now it is automatic anf NO)..only one package is  configured on this.what are steps to follow for configuring this setting on this nodes ?.pls help to get a detailed steps ..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;is it necessary to bring down the package/cluster ...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thanks in advance &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;pls &lt;BR /&gt;rgds&lt;BR /&gt;skr</description>

      <description>Shalom,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;No its not necessary to bring down the cluster.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Make the change on one node.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;copy the package configuration script to the second&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;cmcheckconf&lt;BR /&gt;cmapplyconf&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>

No downtime required.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt; Simply edit the package configuration file&lt;BR /&gt;The package configuration file is in /etc/cmcluster/&lt;PKG_NAME&gt;/&lt;PKG_NAME&gt;/&lt;PKG_NAME&gt;.conf&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Edit the package configuration file, make the changes&lt;BR /&gt;FAILBACK_POLICY=MANUAL and AUTO_RUN=YES&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt; Copy the ascii file to the other Cluster nodes.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Update the cluster binary file&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# cmcheckconf -P &amp;lt;&lt;PKG_NAME&gt;.conf&amp;gt; &lt;BR /&gt;# cmapplyconf -f -P &amp;lt;&lt;PKG_NAME&gt;.conf&amp;gt; &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt; Please verify if &lt;BR /&gt;AUTO_RUN is enabled for that particular pacakge via &lt;BR /&gt;# cmviewcl&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt; If not, enable switching via&lt;BR /&gt;# cmmodpkg -e &lt;NODE_NAME&gt; &lt;PKG_NAME&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/PKG_NAME&gt;&lt;/NODE_NAME&gt;&lt;/PKG_NAME&gt;&lt;/PKG_NAME&gt;&lt;/PKG_NAME&gt;&lt;/PKG_NAME&gt;&lt;/PKG_NAME&gt;</description>
