Processor = dual or single core?

How can I tell if my rx4640 has 2 x dual core or 4 x single core CPU's installed?

Most every thing I know to try tells me yes I have 4 CPU's. But I'm thinking there's a way for me to know the CPU core, single or double.

I don't have the luxury of opening it up at the moment, to physically check, so does anyone have any ideas on how to check.

STM shows me:
120 CPU (1005)
121 CPU (1005)
122 CPU (1005)
123 CPU (1005)

glance shows me:
Active CPUs: 4

You have 2 Dual Core Processors

machinfo is the command on 11.23

Looks to me that you have 4 processors. That model only comes in single and dual core. If you had duals you would see 8 procs.

Nevermind, you do have two dual cores. I overlooked the clock speed.

I do not think that dual-core was around for the rx4640.

There are dual-processors and dual-core, they are different.

This server can have either single or dual core cpus:

Check the output of "machinfo" or simply open the cover ... if you have 2 free slots you have dual cores.
