    <description>Hi Viswanathan,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can compare the product id from "diskinfo" command or description from "ioscan" if you have old outputs.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If vendor replaced same product id then you need to find the serial number using cstm.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;By the way, why do you want to check? You can always check the integrity of the disk using dd command. If the disk is well and good then no need to worry.</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;if u have the o/p&lt;BR /&gt;#iosacn -fnC disk when disk failed&lt;BR /&gt;and check the current output of&lt;BR /&gt;#strings /etc/lvmtab&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;and compare both from that u can guess&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards&lt;BR /&gt;Prashnat</description>
