Hi, only need know if extend a file system with fsadm, the I/O do not stop, because in that file system we have a data base

There should be negligible impact on the I/O when extending a filesystem online.

Should be, Fine,

As long as you have all the Critical patches or fixes has been Installed for fsadm, Online JFS ..will not cuase any I/O stop.

my server was patched tree mounts ago, but do you know the number of critila patches for check in my hosts? thanks

If the server was patched 3 months ago you should be fine.
