    <description>check:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1. /etc/cmcluster/cmclnodelist&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;hostname/ipaddress root&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;put an entry for all the hosts on each node.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;2.more /etc/inetd.conf |grep auth&lt;BR /&gt;auth stream tcp6 wait root /usr/lbin/identd identd&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;3.chech your /etc/hosts ,and check you can resolv names and ips of the members of the cluster from both nodes</description>

      <description>Dear Guru,s&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;OS--HP UX 11.23 IA--RX6600 with &lt;BR /&gt;MC service Guard cluster.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;cmgetconf command giving error while excuting from root login.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;uaedxbpdctakp01&amp;gt;cmgetconf -c TAKAFLDB TAKAFLDB.conf&lt;BR /&gt;cmgetconf: User root from node uaedxbpdctakp01 is not authorized to execute&lt;BR /&gt;this command on cluster TAKAFLDB. Consult your cluster&lt;BR /&gt;administrator to obtain appropriate privileges through role-based access.&lt;BR /&gt;Check syslog file for more information.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Any one can help me solve this problem.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;uaedxbpdctakp01&amp;gt;cmviewcl&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;CLUSTER        STATUS&lt;BR /&gt;TAKAFLDB       up&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;  NODE              STATUS       STATE&lt;BR /&gt;  uaedxbpdctakp01   up           running&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;    PACKAGE        STATUS        STATE         AUTO_RUN     NODE&lt;BR /&gt;    pkg1           up            running       enabled      uaedxbpdctakp01&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;  NODE              STATUS       STATE&lt;BR /&gt;  uaedxbpdctakp02   up           running&lt;BR /&gt;Both node facing same issue.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi Orange&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;While excuting more /etc/inetd.conf |grep auth; Iam getting below output.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;auth         stream tcp6 wait   bin  /usr/lbin/identd   identd&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;you can see that its bin instead of root.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Also in both cluster node pkg1.cntl, pkg1.conf file permission is root:sys' but in other cluster servers it's root:root is it making any diffrence.</description>
