      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;we have rp7220 running HP-UX B.11.23 &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;we reboot the server and its giving the error that is.&lt;BR /&gt;Configure Loopback interfaces (lo0) ................................. msgcnt 3 vxfs: mesg 001: vx_nospace - /dev/vg00/lvol8 file system full (1 block extent&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;and system is not booting at all.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;how i can boot the server and fix the problem??&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;please find the attached file which i collect from mp console.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thanks,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>hi &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;interrupt the BCH pressing any key from the MP console and boot in Single user mode.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;BCH MAin Menu&amp;gt;boot &lt;BR /&gt;Inetract with IPL(y/n)?&lt;BR /&gt;press here y to interact with IPL&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ISL&amp;gt;hpux -is&lt;BR /&gt;the system shall boot in Single user mode and root access will be given.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#fsck /dev/vg00/lvol1&lt;BR /&gt;#fsck /dev/vg00/lvol3&lt;BR /&gt;#fsck /dev/vg00/lvol4&lt;BR /&gt;#fsck /dev/vg00/lvol5&lt;BR /&gt;#fsck /dev/vg00/lvol6&lt;BR /&gt;#fsck /dev/vg00/lvol7&lt;BR /&gt;#fsck /dev/vg00/lvol8&lt;BR /&gt;#fsck /dev/vg00/lvol9&lt;BR /&gt;#fsck /dev/vg00/lvol10&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;etc&lt;BR /&gt;#mount -a&lt;BR /&gt;#bdf&lt;BR /&gt;see if FS at which /dev/vg00/lvol8 is mounted full or not.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;go into that dierctory and remove the unnecessary files to make that free.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;once done reboot the system normally.&lt;BR /&gt;#shutdown -ry 00&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards&lt;BR /&gt;sujit&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Salam,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Reboot the server &lt;BR /&gt;#shutdown -ry 0&lt;BR /&gt;and login into single user mode, by interppeting the normal startup process.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;In PDC menu you will get &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Processor is starting the autoboot process.&lt;BR /&gt;To discontinue, press any key within 10 seconds.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Press any key and in Main Menu&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Main Menu: Enter command or menu &amp;gt; search&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Searching for potential boot devices&lt;BR /&gt;This may take several minutes.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Main Menu: Enter command or menu &amp;gt; boot pri*&lt;BR /&gt;(* - Your bootbale device number)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Interact with ISL (Y or N)?&amp;gt; Y&lt;BR /&gt;When you get the ISL prompt, use the following command to boot into single-user mode.&lt;BR /&gt;ISL&amp;gt; hpux -is&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;then mount the file system&lt;BR /&gt;#mount /{file system name}&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;and check the file system &amp;amp; delete unneccesery files &amp;amp; directory from the file system.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;and reboot the server&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#reboot&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>i restart the server in single user mode and extend the device /dev/vg00/lvol8, which was full.&lt;BR /&gt;problem solved.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
