Hello All,

I'm trying to configure OpenSSL on my server. RP7420 (11.11). I installed this version - OpenSSL_A.00.09.07m.041_HP-UX_B.11.11_32_64.depot

After installing I can't seen to find the executbale to run ssh. I've looked at where the files should be but none exist. For example, these do not exist

/opt/ssh/sbin/sshd
/sbin/init.d/secsh
/usr/sbin/sshd

Output for Swlist is:

swlist | grep -i open
OpenSSL A.00.09.07m.041 Secure Network Communications Protocol

Can anyone tell me what's going on???

You installed OpenSSL. You will NOT find the SSH binaries with OpenSSL.

You really wanted OpenSSH.

Go download that and install it.

You can get HP's port of SSH here:

http://h20392.www2.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=T1471AA
Thanks Patrick!! You were totally right...

One final question... Was it necessary for me to install OpenSSL as well as OpenSSH?? And if not, what is OpenSSL used for then??

Thanks again!
