Normally not.

There may be exeptions if your current software is very old and the install process has dependencies - but swinstall will tell you if it requires a reboot or not before it does anything.

Currently installed version is A.04.20.11 and let me know if at all any outage is required while the upgradation.
where do we find the these details ( reboot required / not ). Any URLs ?

You simple can run swinstall interactively and let the depot be analyzed - the installer will show you the results and tell you if a reboot is required before installing only 1 bit.
