    <description>Hi ,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Can you please post what "kernel panic error"..?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You try booting the system with /stand/vumix.pre /stand/system.prev&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Becoz whilre performing kernal Patch" Server will backup the pervious .vmunix and system.prev&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;reboot the Server&lt;BR /&gt;intterupt and type at ISL&amp;gt;hpux 11 /stand&lt;BR /&gt;(will list files under /stand)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;IF&gt; exits&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;At the ISL prompt enter "hpux /stand/vmunix.prev"&lt;BR /&gt;If this works the system will boot the previous kernel.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks,&lt;BR /&gt;Johnson&lt;/IF&gt;</description>

      <description>do you still remember what patches you had applied?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;i believe you had applied kernal patches which cause this issue. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;if this cause becuase of your recent patching activity you should able to boot your server with privous kernal which is good kernel for this server.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;basically when we appiled for kernal related patch system it self take backup for its current kernel.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;you should Johnson method and post the result, thanks,&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
