      <description>Hi Biju&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;you can check the ssh version as follows&lt;BR /&gt;# swlist openssh&lt;BR /&gt;#swlist -l fileset openssh&lt;BR /&gt;or&lt;BR /&gt;#ssh -V &lt;BR /&gt;will show the version (for the client)&lt;BR /&gt;or &lt;BR /&gt;#sshd -v &lt;BR /&gt;will show the help page but also the version for the server....&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;From the nickel output you can check all software list which are installed in your OS.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Rgds//&lt;BR /&gt;Taifur&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>You can iterrogate the executabe :&lt;BR /&gt;cd /opt/ssh/bin&lt;BR /&gt;file ssh&lt;BR /&gt;cd /opt/ssh/sbin&lt;BR /&gt;file sshd&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;PA-RISC1.1 means 32-bit&lt;BR /&gt;PA-RISC2.0 means 64-bit&lt;BR /&gt;ELF32 means 32-bit&lt;BR /&gt;ELF64 means 64-bit&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;On my Itanium system, ssh is 32-bit while sshd is 64-bit.</description>

      <description>do a &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#file ssh&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If the output is ELF-64 then its 64 bit&lt;BR /&gt;else is only 32 bit (eg. PA-RISC1.1 or PA-RISC2.0)</description>
