password attributes for the root user

Attached the /etc/default/security contents and o/p of passwd -sa

Expected:

The result will display password attributes for root user. The last 3 fields (min, max & warn) must be set to NULL for root user.

Actual:

Password expiry set for root user

Attributes should be NULL as per the standard. How should I change?

It was
passwd -sa
first line is
root PS 03/06/09 0

I did
serverxx:/ # passwd -n 0 -x 0 -w 0 root
argument rounded up to nearest week
argument rounded up to nearest week
argument rounded up to nearest week
serverxx:/ #

now
passwd -sa
first line is
root PS 03/06/09 0 0

now what r the attributes for root user here? Was i able to make it to NULL?
