      <description>hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;i need your help to replace a failed physical disk on a PVG configuration.my /etc/lvmpvg contains this lines&lt;BR /&gt; pvg0                       &lt;BR /&gt; /dev/dsk/c1t2d0            &lt;BR /&gt;/dev/dsk/c4t8d0            &lt;BR /&gt;pvg1                       &lt;BR /&gt;/dev/dsk/c2t2d0            &lt;BR /&gt;/dev/dsk/c5t0d0   &lt;BR /&gt;the failed disk is /dev/dsk/c5t0d0&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;vgdsiplay command output attached.what is the procedure to do the replacement.&lt;BR /&gt;         &lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Check if this disk is not a boot disk&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;- not listed as bootable in lvlnboot -v&lt;BR /&gt;- does not contain lvol 1 ... 3&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;and replace it like a "normal" data disk, see&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://docs.hp.com/en/5991-1236/When_Good_Disks_Go_Bad_WP.pdf" target="_blank"&gt;http://docs.hp.com/en/5991-1236/When_Good_Disks_Go_Bad_WP.pdf&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
