      <description>i have connect tape drive on hpux 11i &lt;BR /&gt;in ioscan output it's show as  &lt;BR /&gt;10/0/15/0.0.0       unknown   HP      C1537A&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;please tell me how to create device file for tape.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thanks</description>

      <description>Hi, &lt;BR /&gt;Torsten is right, you need to enable the "stape" kernel module to static and it may take a reboot.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>HI...&lt;BR /&gt;First run &lt;BR /&gt;#kcmodule stape&lt;BR /&gt;Will give u output something like&lt;BR /&gt;Module  State   Cause&lt;BR /&gt;stape   unused&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Then give &lt;BR /&gt;# kcmodule -h stape=static&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;-h will hold the changes till next reboot.</description>
